Marine Studies Consortium
UMass Boston is a member of the Marine Studies Consortium, an association of seventeen higher education and research institiutions whose mission is to increase understanding of coastal and marine ecosystems and to promote public policies that protect aquatic resources through reduction of non-point source pollution. The Consortium’s undergaduate academic program offers unique learning opportunities in aquatic science and environmental policy.
Courses are held during the evenings on the campuses of member institutions. College academic credit is also available to the general public through agreements with Consortium member schools.
