Please make checks payable to "UMass Boston". Payment of course and service fees with a check that is subsequently returned by our bank will result in an additional returned check fee of $25, and may also result in administrative withdrawal and referral to a collection agency, which may result in liability for the payment of a collection fee.Credit Card
Starting January 8, 2007, UMass Boston no longer accepts direct credit card payments for course and service fees. If you wish to pay with a credit card, you may do so through your WISER self services account or through SallieMae®. MasterCard, Discover, or American Express cards can be used (Visa cards are not accepted). A non-refundable convenience fee of 2.50% will be charged on each credit card transaction. The convenience fee will be calculated for you BEFORE you enter your credit card information. E-check Payments - automated clearing house (ACH) transactions
Tuition and fees can be paid online by E-check from your checking or savings account. This type of payments results in an electronic debit of your bank account. ACH payments are not subject to a convenience fee. Bank information like routing number, account number and student ID number, email address are required to complete a ACH payment.Before making a Automated Clearing House transaction, please verify your account information and that your bank allows electronic debiting of your account.
