Diagnostic Testing
Diagnostic tests for English and mathematics courses are held in the Testing Center (University Advising Center, Campus Center, Upper Level, room 133). The diagnostic test in English is required only for non-native speakers. Each test takes approximately one hour to complete and results are available immediately after the exam. A photo ID is necessary to take the exam.Tests are on a walk-in basis, during posted dates and times. There is no fee for testing. Calculators, books or notes are not allowed. We do not have practice exams; however, sample questions can be found at www.uac.umb.edu. For further information, please call 617.287.5522.
