Master of Science in Gerontology
Admission Requirements
A student may register for any of the courses without having to apply for and be accepted into the Masters Program. If at a later date, the student is accepted into the Masters Program, a maximum of two courses may be counted toward that degree.
All students must have an undergraduate degree to register for a course or get permission from the instructor.
- To apply to the Masters Program, students must submit:
- Brief cover letter indicating that they would like to be considered for admission into the Gerontology Masters of Science track in the Management of Aging Services;
- UMass Boston Graduate School application (pdf)
- College transcripts;
- Three reference letters; and
- A 3 – 4 page essay on their experience and why they wish to enter the program.
- GREs are NOT required for this Program.
